Why e-Sports Matters

Esports has been shown to improve grades and attendance. Additionally, several studies have shown that gaming can improve mental health. The V.A. is classified as a Tier 2 intervention for suicide prevention. Furthermore, it will help students build a community and have a purpose outside of simply going home and playing games alone with strangers online. Students who do Esports often have never been a part of teams or other activities, so Esports means more students in Brewer Blue!
